여름방학, 소녀 루카는 기묘한 출생의 비밀을 지닌 두 소년 우미(海)와 소라(空)를 우연히 만나게 된다.

해양생물학자이자 아이들의 보호자인 짐 퀴잭은 이 사건에 어떤 방식으로든 우미와 소라가 연관되어 있음을 직감하고 뭔가에 쫓기듯 긴장감을 감추지 못한다.

Ruka is a young girl whose parents are separated and whose father works in an aquarium.
When two boys, Umi and Sora, who were raised in the sea by dugongs, are brought to the aquarium, Ruka feels drawn to them and begins to realize that she has the same sort of supernatural connection to the ocean that they do.
Umi and Sora's special power seems to be connected to strange events that have been occurring more and more frequently, such as the appearance of sea creatures far from their home territory and the disappearance of aquarium animals around the world. However, the exact nature of the boys' power and of the abnormal events is unknown, and Ruka gets drawn into investigating the mystery that surrounds her new friends.
